As the nation fights the ongoing bushfire crisis, local legends have decided to act and have created a fundraiser to help out those in need.
The Isa Bushfire Fundraiser will be held on Saturday February 1 from 5pm at Tony White Oval.
There will be live music, market stalls, various food stalls, raffles and entertainment for the kids.
Event organiser Tiffany Wakeham said if anyone was looking to donate or be a part of the night they can contact the Mount Isa Bushfire Fundraiser Facebook page.
"We are welcoming raffle contributions, food vendors and market stalls," Ms Wakeham said.
"Since this event has been created multiple members of the community have contacted the page and shared their stories of how these horrendous fires have impacted either themselves or family members.
"There is nothing like Mt Isa community spirit, everyone has a heart of gold and wants to help out in anyway they can," she said.
