Thankfully no one was injured when the gas leak occurred.
Mount Isa Police informed they had to close off Duchess road and evacuate a business to make sure no one was in danger during the leak.
Mount Isa Police Sergeant Whitney Lacy said the gas leak was fixed by 11.53 and the road was re-opened by 11.58.
"Luckily no one was injured and the job was finalised successfully," Sgt Lacy said.
The closure took place on 164 Duchess Road Mount Isa.
