Ryan (2-25) said the Panthers bowling was a bit wayward.
"We could have bowled better at times, they stayed in the chase until the last few overs.
"We were unlucky not to have the wicket of Morrisby earlier, but a bit of controversy meant he played a longer innings in vain," he said.

Black Stars batsman Scott Kyle said it was a fighting partnership.
"Andrew Lawrenson came out of retirement to score 53 off 32 balls and we battled to a total of 180 all out," Kyle said.
Cavaliers bowler Moro bowled tight taking 3-26 off seven overs.
The Black Stars got off to the perfect start off the back of a sharp spell of bowling from Thinee and the Cavaliers were on 3-5 after four overs.
Van Zyl then backed up his bowling with some fine batting to reach a handy 46.
After losing steady wickets the Cavaliers refused to give up with number ten batsman Perara scoring 30 not out and Number 11 batsman Moro 12 not out to get them home in the second last over.
