The pair will appear in Channel Seven's new series of the cooking show My Kitchen Rules- The Rivals.
Cousins Jacqui Bakhash, 47, and Sharon Sellings, 48, put Mount Isa on the map when they came runner-up in the My Kitchen Rules grand final in 2015.
Jac and Shaz will compete as part of team Manu (Feildel) in a series of instant restaurants competing against a team led by Colin Fassnidge.
At the end of each round, one team will be eliminated, but Jac and Shaz said it won't be them.
"There'll be no second place this time around," Jac said.
"We made the Grand Final in our first season so we are planning on running the same race and having fun along the way."
The second time around, Shaz said they would approach the competition a little bit differently.
"I guess second time around you are wiser and certainly know a bit more about what to expect which will hopefully make it a bit less stressful," she said.
"Our food will always be good honest food that tastes great and hopefully this time around we'll be able to elevate those dishes to an even higher standard."
The girls said they have learnt lessons from their first season and don't plan on making the same mistakes again.
"One of my regrets from our season is not having great dessert recipes up our sleeve. I'm more of a savoury person, so desserts are definitely my weakness," Jac said.
"Perhaps not being very prepared when we entered as we really didn't think we would ever actually be accepted," Shaz said.
Despite their weaknesses the Mount Isa girls are bringing strength to the competition, saying taking directions from others and keeping a level head were their best attributes for the competition.
If Jac and Shaz win the competition they plan to take a trip overseas or conduct home renovations with the $100,000 prize money.
My Kitchen Rules - The Rivals, airs on Channel 7 on Sunday February 2.
