Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the event would be held in Winton Shire Hall from 9.30am on January 26 showcasing fresh regional produce cooked by local chefs and featuring home grown entertainment.
Pop-up stalls will be serving up delectable dishes made from local produce while there will be Lamington eating and Biscuit bites competitions.
In attendance will be Australia Day Ambassador, radio host and language academic, Emeritus Professor Roly Sussex OAM, who will also present at the local Australia Day Awards and attend an Australia Day sports afternoon at the pool.
The Premier said Roly was among more than 40 high-profile Queenslanders, including Queensland Greats, television personalities, entrepreneurs and athletes, who are participating in more than 58 council-run events taking place across the State as part of the Australia Day Ambassador Program.
"Australia Day is an opportunity to reflect on what it means to be Australian, to celebrate our vision of contemporary Australia and to acknowledge our history," the Premier said.
