A Mount Isa youth has been charged with stealing and car damage after an incident last week.

Police said at about 10am on Monday, January 13, two boys entered a Camooweal St accommodation complex.
The boys have allegedly damaged a number of parked vehicles within the complex, by either scratching or smashing windows, before entering and searching them.
The boys have also allegedly entered a toolbox on the tray of another vehicle, removing a hammer and drill.
It is further alleged the boys entered the laundry area and removed two dispensing machines from the wall, using these tools.
The machines were located nearby, empty and damaged.

A 17-year-old Pioneer boy has been charged withe two counts of enter premises and one count each of enter premises by break, wilful damage and stealing.
He will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act 1992.
Investigations are continuing into the second alleged offender.
