At about 7pm on Sunday, January 26, it is alleged a man returned to his Duchess Road residence and located a man and woman sleeping in his bed.

The resident asked the pair to leave, however the man has allegedly returned to the residence a short time later with another man both known to the resident.
It is alleged the men removed a faulty sliding door to the bedroom and assaulted the resident by hitting him in the face and head multiple times with a can of tuna.
The man was reportedly treated in hospital for lacerations, requiring five sutures in his lip and three in his left eye brow.
A 22-year-old Mornington man has been charged with one count each of enter dwelling with enter and assault occasioning bodily harm and was due to appear in Mount Isa Magistrates Court on Wednesday January 29.
Investigations are continuing into the second offender.
