Unlike the inaugural event in 2019 which finished with the million dollar hole-in-one in Mount Isa, this year will see $10,000 hole in challenges at each of the five other courses.
Luke Bates, Queensland State Senior Manager, Golf Australia said Hughenden was among the locations for the $10,000 hole-in-one challenges.
"It also include Biloela, Charleville, Quilpie, Blackall and Hughenden, culminating in Longreach for the million dollar hole-in-one challenge this June and July," Mr Bates said.
"It really is the ultimate 2020 golfing odyssey being Australia's most remote golf series spanning an epic 1600 kilometres across Queensland's Outback."
Mr Bates said the additional hole-in-one challenges was a bid to attract interest from golfers nationally and internationally.
"It will make it the world's largest prize pool for amateur golfers, including new and first-time golfers," he said.
The event is a six part golf series staged at local golf clubs in each town.
The program kicks off with breakfast on the Saturday morning at the golf club, followed by the official tee off.
The competition includes 9 holes each day for Saturday and Sunday with breakfast and lunch included on both days. Saturday evening is dinner under the stars of the Milky Way with award winning performers from comedy to cabaret to multi-piece bands.
The tournament culminates in Longreach for a three day event from Friday to Sunday. The two day event format will take place over Friday and Saturday with dinner under the stars on Friday night. The tournament culminates on the Sunday with the million dollar hole in one challenge.
To compete in the Million Dollar Hole-in-One, you must first have competed in two previous locations.
Free Junior Golf Clinics for local youth are also staged in the six locations on the Outback Queensland Masters with PGA Pro, Darren Weatherall.
