It was Jac and Shaz's debut cook on My Kitchen Rules - The Rivals, and the Mount Isa mums could not believe they were putting on the aprons again.
As part of Team Manu, Jac and Shaz begun cooking Black Pudding Croquettes for entree.
During preparation time the girls started to get a little flustered, but Manu helped them out with some advice and essential oils.
"The ladies are always full of fun, full of life and I think we are going to have a good day," said head chef Manu Feildel.
Shaz also taught Manu a new dance move while bulk peeling (shaking) garlic cloves.
"I have been working in the kitchen for nearly 30 years and I have never seen anyone shake the bejeezus out of the garlic like Shaz does," Manu said.
Before they knew it preparation time was over and the judges had arrived and nerves were kicking in.
"Pete, Colin and Manu are here in our kitchen and I feel like we are in the principal's office," Jac said.
The girls welcomes their guests and continued to cook their main, rib eye with smoked butter and confit garlic; and dessert, mandarine tart with yoghurt sorbet.
At the table everyone was impressed with the Mount Isa girls, even calling them a "force to be reckoned with."
But when it came to judging, Jac and Shaz were blind sided by their own team.
"Jac and Shaz did a brilliant job and only made minor errors, I think they deserve a seven," Roula said.
"How can we justify a seven?" said Dan.
"Because they are on our team, that is what we do with everyone," Roula said.
Dan and Steph, who were currently at the top of the leaderboard, tried to convince the rest of their team to bring Jac and Shaz's score down.
"We have to think of all our team mates, but at the end of this, its no secret, we want to win."
The judges were impressed and scored Jac and Shaz a seven and eight for all dishes
The rival team of Colin's scored higher with an eight but Jac and Shaz's team Manu scored them a six.
"(Censored) me dead," Jac said.
"I am a little bit shocked, I thought we would have got higher.
"It's quite a substancial difference a six to an eight, I really don't understand."
Giving Jac and Shaz a combined score of 59/80, putting them in second place behind Dan and Steph.
