Copper City Cycling Club now has a new trailer through the Mount Isa City Council Community Grants and Sponsorship program.

Club president Lyn Roughan said they decided to apply for the grant since they don't own a clubhouse.
"Now it's much easier to set up races and the trailer holds most of our gear so it's a huge benefit to us," Ms Roughan.
"The entire process was smooth and I would recommended applying for needed grants."
Councillor Peta MacRae said the grant program runs twice a year.
"If you are a sporting club or group and you need help then don't be afraid to reach out," Cr MacRae said.
