Director of Engineering Emilio Cianetti, 56, faced one charge of fraudulently produces/uses any record which is false, in Mount Isa Magistrates Court on Wednesday March 18.
Lawyer Simon Pate represented Mr Cianetti who was present for the first mention for the indictable offence.
Discussions were had around Mr Cianetti's bail conditions, made by the Crime and Corruption Commission Queensland, being "too restrictive" as he is MICC's only engineer and director of disasters.
Mr Cianetti's lawyer is expected to make an application to vary the bail conditions on Monday March 23.
Magistrate Trinity McGarvie ordered a brief of evidence to be supplied to the defense and adjourned the case until June 3 for committal mention.
Mr Cianetti is expected to appear on that day.
On February 27, the Crime and Corruption Commission Queensland charged a 56-year-old Mount Isa man with one count of fraudulently creating a falsified document.
