Qantas and Jetstar are cutting 60 percent of their domestic services from the end of the month but we don't know yet what is the impact on Mount Isa.
Two-thirds of Qantas and Jetstar's 30,000 employees will be temporarily stood down from late March until at least the end of May.
More than 150 aircraft have been temporarily grounded, including all of Qantas's A380s, 747s and 787-9s and Jetstar's 787-8s.

"The efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus have led to a huge drop in travel demand, the likes of which we have never seen before," Qantas CEO Alan Joyce said.
Qantas will now nine flights a week from Townsville to Mount Isa and Cloncurry.
However Qantas have yet to say what is the impact of their services between Mount Isa and Brisbane.
Similarly while Rex has announced it is slashing capacity by 45 percent, it has yet to provide details of impacts to routes in western and north west Queensland.
Virgin Australia has also reduced services across Australia by 50 percent but none of the routes cancelled so far involve North West Queensland.
"(Virgin) will continue to maintain the majority of its domestic network reach through reduced frequencies," they said.
