McKinlay Shire Council mayoral candidacy was won by grazier Philip Curr with 183 votes, ahead of Nyssa Currin on 159, Shannon Rae on 46 and Lynette Clout on 31.
Councillors were also declared including Janene Fegan and Shauna Royes on 298 votes, John Lynch on 230 and Tim Pratt on 206.
Burke Shire Council has also been declared, with uncontested mayor Ernie Camp returning to his position.
Councillors include John Yanner on 115 votes, Tonya Murray on 109, John Clarke on 108 and Rosita Wade on 72.
Rick Britton has regained his mayoral seat in Boulia after he was uncontested.
Boulia councillors include Sam Beauchamp on 144 votes, Jack Neilson on 139, Jan Norton on 99 and Tim Edgar on 91.
Other North West shires are still yet to be officially declared, including Flinders Shire, Mornington Island, Doomadgee Aboriginal Shire and Carpentaria Shire councillors.
