Following last month's '7 days of dinners' appeal to provide meals for the less fortunate, Ms Gall was again helping those less fortunate in the last few days.
Ms Gall said that after hearing that a few people couldn't get access to food she put a call out to the Mount Isa community.
"In less than 24 hours we raised $2500 and cooked 534 meals including some puddings, (we) got a freezer delivered by 9.30am," Ms Gall said.
"Kylie came in for a coffee and ended up being my skipper for the day. Helped me organise and facilitate the whole thing. You were a godsend. Thank you."
Ms Gall said her phone did not stop all morning and they even got donations from Brisbane with a dozen or so volunteers making the food.
She also thanked Woolworths and Coles managers and staff for accommodation their shoppers, Donna and Chrystal at PFD for opening up and delivering the bulk items needed, Lisa at Lamberts who got all the fruit and veggies at short notice, Steve at Sunset Butcher for the meat, Father Mick Lowcock for the freezer and "the shoppers, the cooks, the delivery drivers, the cleaners and I am still getting people asking to help."
Ms Gall said she was in awe and speechless in what can be accomplished together.
"It's amazing what a little bit of kindness will do and will go a long way," she said.
"Compassion and the community spirit was so beautiful to watch and be a part of all less than 24 hours."
Ms Gall said they now had a freezer full of food and is ready for anyone who needs it at anytime.
