With the easing of some restrictions due to Covid-19 the Mount Isa Golf club opened the course to members only on the Labour Day weekend.

The club said it was great to see so many members out having a hit and supporting the club
With strict social guidelines in place the club ran a 18 hole comp each day with a good number of players attending.
On Saturday 3/5/20 an 18 hole single stable ford was played with 53 players competing.
The winner with a great score of 38 points was Auretta Perrin (some believe she may have been sneaking out to get some practice).
The runner up on 37 points was Greg Palm.
The ball run down went to Craig Denham, Dan Horskins, Kel Burnham and Mark Koolman
On Sunday with a total of 43 players another 18 hole stableford was played with Tony Simpson putting up a great score of 40 points to outlast Ryan Gilchrist on 39 points.
The ball rundown went to
Rohan Schull, Craig Denham and Auretta Perrin.
On Monday an 18 hole stable ford multiplier was played with Gav Goodall and Darryl Ide coming out winners with a score of 69 points. Followed closely by Mitch McDonald and Chris Campbell with 68 points.
The ball rundown went to Alex Murtagh and Stewie Beetham, Rene and Wayne Blackman, Richard Bawden and Lee Pulman.
The club is now open to social players with strict rules in place including no alcohol on course and two people per tee and cashless payment.
Bookings are essential (no bookings no play) and only one person per cart, unless co-habitat. Please call the club to make a booking.
The course will be monitored to ensure these restrictions are followed.
On Saturday May 9 the monthly medal will be played, all members please call and book your times.
