The Ladies golf competition has returned to the Mount Isa Golf Club after a small break with impressive scores hotting up the competition.

The first game played on Saturday May 9 saw a stroke round take place in conjunction with a Monthly Medal.
Renee Blackman outclassed her rivals returning a great score of 70 nett to take home the Ulla Allen Trophy in perfect golfing conditions.
Runner up place was awarded to Nikki Mills for her equally good score of 72 nett closely followed by ball rundown winners Angie Sciascia on 74 nett and Auretta Perrin on 79.
The following Saturday the lady golfers once again took to the course to play an 18-hole stableford competition.
Linda Bellamy was outright winner blitzing the field and returning an excellent score of 40 points.
Once again Nikki Mills took the runner up spot with another good round of golf finishing with 36 points. Prue Dunstan and Sandra Beattie shared the ball rundown winnings with 33 points each.
Our next competition was on Wednesday May 20 in another 18-hole Stableford competition.
The small field of ladies battled for top honours with Ulla Allen eventually winning with 30 points.
Runner up trophy went to Liz Debney on 26 points.
Blistering cold weather did not deter the lady's enthusiasm for the game and they returned to the course for another 18-hole stableford competition on the weekend.
Judy Fangrath carded an impressive 38 points to take first place and the winning trophy.
Runner up spot went to Linda Bellamy for her equally impressive 34 points. Nikki Mills and Sandra Beattie shared the ball rundown winnings with 30 points each.
