Police are seeking witnesses to an incident in Mount Isa last week where there was an assault occasioning bodily harm.

Police said that on Wednesday, June 10 between 4am and 5am, a member of the public was walking home within the Grace and Camooweal Street area when they were allegedly assaulted from behind, sustaining injuries.
Police are seeking the assistance of any members of the public who may have witnessed the incident or travelled around this area and may have dashcam footage that could assist this investigation.
Investigations are continuing in this matter. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
Pioneer, possess dangerous drugs
At around 3.15 am on Wednesday, June 10, police located a 13-year-old boy allegedly in possession of cannabis.
The 13-year-old was subsequently charged for possessing dangerous drugs and will be dealt with according to the provisions of the Youth Justice Act 1992.
Mount Isa, possess dangerous drugs
On June 11 at about 4.15pm, police attended an address in Pioneer after information was provided regarding the occupant of the home being in possession of dangerous drugs.
A search warrant was executed, and a small amount of cannabis was allegedly located as well as several drug utensils.
A 30-year-old Pioneer man has been charged with possessing dangerous drugs and utensils and will appear in Mount Isa Magistrates Court on 16 September 2020
Townview, unlawful entry
Between midnight on June 5 and midnight on June 12, unknown persons have allegedly entered a property on Joan Street and have stolen a large amount of property from the home.
Investigations are continuing.
