The Mount Isa-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted an injured man to hospital, after he was reportedly crushed between a car and a trailer near Julia Creek, earlier Monday.

It's believed the man had been standing behind a car, which began to reverse, but was unable to move out of the way in time.
He became pinned between the two vehicles.
A Queensland Ambulance Service road crew initially treated the man, for abdominal injuries.
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue aeromedical team was sent to Julia Creek Hospital around 3:30pm, where they met the patient, who'd been driven to the facility by ambulance.
He was then flown to Mount Isa Hospital, in a stable condition.
