Splashez Aquatic Centre temporarily closed on March 26 after the Federal Government imposed strict COVID-19 restrictions across the country, but will now reopen on Saturday July 11.
Council's COVID-19 Response Group made the decision to reopen the facility in line with Stage 3 easing of restrictions allowing up to 100 people.
The Response Group said "it was not viable to reopen at Stage 2, as it only allowed for 10 people."
"The 50m pool will be open, but will be limited to one swimmer per lane.
"The leisure pool will be open and barbecues will be available. There will be a limit of 100 people in the facility at a time.
"Classes and lessons will not be available at the present time, and the grandstand will initially be closed."
Regular cleaning will be carried out in the ablution areas and cafe.
Until September 1, Splashez will be observing winter operating hours: Monday to Friday - 2pm-7pm; Saturdays and Sundays- 10.30am-5.30pm.
