The weather overnight turned cold threatening to dampen the enthusiasm of the 18 players who took part this year, the open's biggest turnout for the foursomes' competition for many years.
The dynamic duo consisting of Rebecca Nankivell and Liz Jakeman took home the Gross Champion trophy with a great score of 91 gross, easily defeating the runner up winners Linda Bellamy and Renee Blackman who finished the day with 95 gross.
In the handicap division Bernie Hartnett and Julie Dane came up trumps blitzing the field with an impressive 70 nett.
Suni Thogersen and Judy Fangrath were awarded nett runners-up after a handy round carding a 77.5 nett.
Once again mother nature took a miserable turn, whipping up 23 km winds and cloud cover to make icy conditions difficult for Sunday's Open Mixed Foursomes competition.
All players from the previous day bravely fronted up again with their partners resulting in one of the largest contingents of players 36 in total to compete for the Mixed Foursomes Championships.
Kirra White teamed up with Mark Thinee to take out first place honours and the Gross Champion Trophy with an amazing 83 off the stick.
Runner up Gross title went to Angie Sciascia and Dick Bawden who finished close behind on 86.
Handicap honours went to the combination of Bob Jakeman and Rebecca Nankivell with an impressive 68.5 nett edging out their nearest rivals Wayne and Renee Blackman when they finished with an equally impressive 72.5 nett.
