The first game will be a grand final replay with premiership holders Tigers taking on a revengeful Buffs at 12.30 at Legend Oval.
The other game of the opening round will see Rhinos up against Rovers at 2.30.
Rhinos coach Tom Wilsdon said he and his side were returning to doing what they love.
"It's nice to be able to see everyone's faces again and be able to have a laugh with your mates, it's brought back some normality to our lives," Wilsdon said.
"Training has been really good, we did some body on body stuff as we're allowed to start doing contact training and game day simulation.
"At this stage the Rhinos are good to start with a full 18, but we'll have to wait and see how many the Rovers have with the new rule change.
"For those who might like to join us we train on Monday and Wednesday at St Kieran's school from 6pm."
Newly appointed Rhinos captain Tom Rigmany said he expected to kick things off with a win.
"I have a good feeling about this season, we have some new faces around the club and everyone has been desperate to get onto the field, I'm predicting a big win over the Rovers," Rigmany said.
