Officers from the Mount Isa Tactical Crime Squad, General Duties, Criminal Investigation Branch and other specialist units were tasked over the five-day operation.
The operations provided a high-visibility presence in licensed venues as well as public space areas.
More than 172 persons were intercepted, with more than 63 litres of alcohol tipped out to prevent drinking in public spaces.
Police said Five people were arrested in relation to other matters after they were intercepted as part of the operation while officers identified two persons in need of urgent medical assistance.
