This comes as juniors prepare for their opening round this week, while the women's competition has unfortunately fallen through.
Parkside A goalkeeper Jason Howard said everyone might have been a bit rusty with the break after his 11 goal win.
"The fitness may not be there yet and then there's always factors where everyone is getting used to how each other plays. Chemistry takes time to build throughout the season," Howard said.
"It was always going to be a difficult game for one of the sides when one is an A side and the other is a B side."
In the second game another 11 goal win was given to Isaroos as they got off to the perfect start. Isaroos will be searching to go just that little bit harder this season having fallen in the semis last year.
In the final game the Sandfire Bulls showed no mercy to an Atlas A with only eight players. The Bulls scored 13 to 0 and continued to heave pressure onto Atlas for the entire 90 minutes.
