While Tuesday's maximum in Mount Isa will be a pleasant 29 degrees, it will get hotter tomorrow with a forecast max of 34.
That rises to a sizzling 35 on Thursday and a reminder those 40 degree days as not as far away as you think.
It will be 33 on Friday before a max of 29 on both weekend days, then climbing back to 33 next Monday.
Minimums will be in the low to mid teens.
