More than 5000 votes were placed, comprised of many Cowboys NRL favourites including Scott Prince, John Doyle, Matty Bowen and Johnathan Thurston.
With 1800 NRL appearances, 694 NRL tries, 103 Origin appearances, 66 Test matches for Australia and six Paul Bowman medals between them, the side boasts selected players from across the club's quarter century history.
Fan-voted Cowboys 25-year Indigenous Nines team includes:
1995-96: John Buttigieg with 43 per cent of votes Reggie Cressbrook 20 per cent, Justin Loomans 10 per cent.
1997-01: Matt Bowen (77%), John Doyle (9%), Jim Ahmat (7%)
2002-04: Matt Sing (55%), Ty Williams (23%), Rod Jensen (17%)
2005-10: Johnathan Thurston (79%), Carl Webb (6%), Willie Tonga (5%)
2011-20: Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow (60%), Gideon Gela-Mosby (13%), Robert Lui (11%).
