On August 7 at 2.50am, Mount Isa Police intercepted a vehicle on Eleventh Ave, that allegedly had no registration plates visible.
Police will allege that the driver, a 29-year-old Mount Isa man, did not hold a current drivers licence and blew four times over the general alcohol limit.
The man was charged with driving unlicensed and driving under the influence of liquor.
He will appear in the Mount Isa Magistrates Court on September 9.
There were others behaving badly on the roads too in recent days.,
On August 4 at 8.55pm, a Mount Isa man was allegedly driving along Camooweal St unlicensed and under the influence of alcohol.
Police said the driver, a 25-year-old man, blew three times over the general alcohol limit.
He was charged with driving unlicensed and under the influence of liquor.
He will appear in Mount Isa Magistrates Court on September 9.
Meanwhile on August 11, Doomadgee Police received information about a vehicle being driven by someone allegedly under the influence of alcohol.
The driver, a 19-year-old Mount Isa man, allegedly returned a blood alcohol concentration reading of 0.269 per cent and did not hold a drivers licence.
He was charged with high range drink driving, driving without a licence, and driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
He will appear in the Doomadgee Magistrates Court on September 16.
