Between 12am and 6.30am on Friday, August 21, a vehicle parked at a hotel was broken into via smashed windows and a number of items stolen from within the vehicle which include a handbag, mobile phone, debit cards and cash.
Later that evening at 7.40pm a vehicle parked in a shopping centre car park was broken into by unknown means and a number of items stolen.
Offenders smashed the front passenger side window and stole a HP Laptop, a roll of spanners, and money from inside the vehicle.
Investigations are continuing and if anyone has any information they are urged to contact Policelink.
There was also a case of assault police in the town of Doomadgee
At around 3am on Friday, August 21, Doomadgee Police were called to a medical facility after reports of a woman causing a disturbance.
A 43-year-old Doomadgee woman was charged with commit public nuisance, obstruct police officer and assault police officer whilst adversely affected in a public place.
