Police said that at 7pm on August 29, an alarm alerted at a school building.

The front door of the building was damaged and contents within the building spread across the floor. Investigations allegedly uncovered that a pair of football shoes were stolen and a 13-year-old Mount Isa boy will be dealt with according to the provisions of the Youth Justice Act 1992.

A day earlier a residence on Miles Street, Menzies was broken into at 11.30pm on August 28.

Windows and a door of the residence were significantly damaged. Investigations are continuing and anyone with information is urged to contact police.

At 2.45am on September 3, a mountain bike was stolen from an address on Seventh Avenue, Parkside. A 20-year-old Mount Isa man was charged with enter premises and commit indictable offence. He will appear in Mount Isa Magistrates Court on October 23.

At 4am on September 4, a business on West Street encountered an attempted break in through a rear window. No items were reported as stolen.

At 6pm on September 6, an address on East Street, Townview was broken into via an unlocked front door. No items were reported as stolen. As a result of investigations, a 14-year-old girl will be dealt with according to the provisions of the Youth Justice Act 1992.

Meanwhile between 9pm on September 6 and 7.45am on September 7, thieves gained entry into a vehicle parked along Juniper Street, Parkside.

A Samsung mobile phone and dash camera were taken and a number of items had been sprawled over the front seat from the glove compartment.

The dash cam, subsequently damaged, and mobile phone were later found on the footpath.
