The boil water notice came into effect on November 14 because Council undertook water infrastructure remediation works and town water tanks renewal works.
Council lifted the notice Monday saying it had finished the works which included the replacement of the header tank at the drinking water network.
Council said they did water quality testing after the works which determined there was no longer a public health concern and water was safe for drinking, preparing food, washing, dish washing, laundry and flushing toilets.
Residents should flush out affected water from the pipes and disinfect inside and outside of taps if flooded, council said.
