* Five fatalities, taking the state's death toll to 771 and the national figure to 859
* They include two women in their 80s, a woman in her 100s, a man in his 70s and a man in his 90s, and all are linked to aged care
* 15 new cases with 10 linked to known outbreaks and five under investigation

POLICE FINES
* 83 fines issued in the last 24 hours, including eight for failing to wear a face covering, seven at vehicle checkpoints and 20 for curfew breaches
RESTRICTIONS
* Stage four across metropolitan Melbourne, including a 9pm-5am curfew, 5km travel limit, two-hour outdoor exercise limit, widespread workforce shutdowns
* People in Melbourne who live alone can nominate a friend or family member to visit
* Measures in regional Victoria allow residents to leave home without restriction and all shops to reopen. Also allowed are outdoor gatherings of up to 10 people, up to five visitors to a home, and an opening up of hospitality and entertainment venues with density limits
* Melbourne drivers who try to leave the city without a valid reason risk a $4957 fine. Melbourne residents can travel to regional Victoria for work
