This will be following the official opening of the facility by Senator Susan McDonald and Mayor Greg Campbell at 2pm.
The official opening is not open to the public but it will be livestreamed on Cloncurry Shire Council's Facebook page.
The $2.5m upgrade has transformed the are to attract more visitors and create a place for the community to come together.
The two-year redevelopment incorporates new amenities, water park and splash-pad, BBQ's, playground, skatable furniture, educational cycle area, civic stage, new lighting, water bubblers, seating, wide footpaths and improved green space, along with a series of arbors that will incorporate educational information telling the story of Cloncurry's history and key landmarks, with paths and lines of sight directing people through to visit John Flynn Place.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, numbers will be limited.
Council asks all attendees to follow safety measures to help keep the community safe and healthy.
