Teachers were also acknowledged for their nomination for the Good Shepherd Staff Contribution Award -which an inaugural award for 2020.
The prize acknowledges staff who are experts in their field, highly professional and build outstanding relationships with staff, students and families.
Principal Mrs Kathleen McCarthy said World Teachers' Day was a great opportunity to acknowledge the tireless work of staff in their schools.
"Everyone who works in schools plays an important role in the education of a child," Ms McCarthy said,
Good Shepherd Catholic College is also supporting the Catholic Missions this month with staff and students wearing crazy socks and raising money for the less fortunate.
