The Forsayth-born candidate able to catch up with old friends and to meet new ones and said she felt the electorate was feeling neglected.
"They want someone who is prepared to stand alongside them in their battle for a fair go," Ms Smith said.
"Agforce, for example, highlighted a number of issues that needed urgent attention, particularly the amount of red tape surrounding the vegetation laws. I have put my reputation on the line by guaranteeing my support for our hard-working farmers and graziers."

Ms Smith said a young Karumba mum told her her Grade 2 daughter had 17 different teachers in three years.
"This instability does nothing for the future prospects of the kids living in Traeger," she said.
"If elected, I will work to encourage educators and other essential service providers to make a real commitment to the region.
"These people are my people. It would be an honour to represent them and to bring real change to the neglected electorate."
