These stockings will be distributed along with frozen ice blocks and other gifts that the local Emergency Services have collected. The combined efforts of the local Emergency Services will spread Christmas cheer and sugar rushes to many lucky children in town.
"This is a small thing MMG Dugald River can do for the Cloncurry community," Martin Brownlee, Dugald River SHEC Superintendent said.
"The local kids get so excited to receive ice blocks on Christmas morning from our local Emergency Services and it is great to be a part of this."
MMG thanked Emergency Services members for giving up their time on Christmas morning to share in the festive fun.
