On the agenda is a Development Application for a Material Change of Use to install a self-contained incinerator and cremulator unit at 37 Old Mica Creek Road.
The unit will be used exclusively use for small pets such as cats, dogs and smaller animals.
There is also an update on the Civic Centre remedial works.
The urgent works were identified in March 2020 and the Civic Centre was closed in early April 2020.
Council said the remedial projects were scoped, approved and budgeted in June 2020.
"Works are now well underway and expected to complete by April 2021," Council said in the meeting agenda paper.
"Management will be able to re-open parts of the centre in a limited capacity from early January 2021, if required."
Council is also looking to replace two of its three garbage trucks.
The trucks are seven years old "around the optimum time that garbage trucks in full time operational use should be replaced" and said trucks beyond this age are typically used as backup units.
The third truck will be up for replacement next year.
Also on the agenda is work at Camooweal.
Council said the work to replace the stump footings of the Camooweal Town Hall is a matter of priority as the existing footings have become dilapidated and are structurally inadequate
