Tradie Kodie Kuskopf and midwife Georgia Hildebrand are behind the event, after a successful first one in 2020.
Mr Kuskopf said last year they had over 100 young professionals come together and network but due to COVID this year they have capped numbers at 80.
Ms Hildebrand said the event was aimed at young professionals, new or old to town.
"Young is a loose term but anyone is welcome," she said.
"It's just an opportunity to meet new people socially."
She said there were lots of connections throughout the year made at last year's meet and greet despite COVID and expected it would be the same this time round.
"Hopefully after last year's lockdown we'll be seeing more events," she said.
Mr Kuskopf said Mount Isa's remoteness made networking so important.
"It's a chance to make new friends and give people reasons to stay in town," he said.
The 2021 Meet and Greet for Mount Isa young professionals will be at the Red Earth Boutique Hotel on Friday February 19 from 5.30pm, which coincides with happy hour at the hotel.
Entry is free but because of the numbers capping it will be first in best dressed.
