The QRRRWN said it said bringing women together in different ways in different places to acknowledge, support and celebrate the many ways they strengthen and enrich rural, regional and remote communities.
QRRRWN President Tracey Martin said their International Women's Day events were created and organised by local women and would take different formats to meet local interests and needs.
"Rural and regional women are looking forward to connecting face to face and online to celebrate international women's day together," she said.
"Although distance can sometimes make face to face events challenging, our members have worked hard to host events across the State from Toowoomba, Hughenden, Dulacca, Mackay, Charleville and Morven."
The QRRRWN also has two free online events to ensure that women in remote areas can connect and hear from inspirational speakers.
"We are partnering with Soroptomist and the Mackay Council for the online event in Mackay, and partnering with the Flinders Shire Council for the Hughenden event," Ms Martin said.
The Hughenden event is called 'Chess & Chardonnay' and is on Monday, 8 March 8 from 5:30 - 7:30pm at the Flinders Shire Council Library
The capacity is 20 and organiser is Mel Erikson
