Police said that between midnight and 4am on Thursday, April 1, a group of juvenile offenders were walking along Douglas Street, when one of the boys entered a residence via a window.
Inside the dwelling the boy removed an unregistered rifle and a quantity of ammunition.
At about 4am that same morning, it is alleged a group of youths have gained entry to a Crough Street compound by cutting and removing a padlock from the entry gate.
Inside they smashed the driver's side window of a business vehicle and removed several items.
Police located these items, along with a quantity of other stolen items from outstanding matters, at a Burke Street address, later that same day.
A 17-year-old Doomadgee boy has been charged with two counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence by break and one count each of; unlawful possession of weapons, authority required to possess explosives, receiving tainted property and possess property suspected (committing drug offence).
He was denied bail and has been remanded in custody to appear in the Doomadgee Childrens Court at a later date.
A 13-year-old Doomadgee boy has been charged with enter premises and commit indictable offence and trespass, in relation to an outstanding matter.
He was dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
A 12-year-old Doomadgee boy has been charged with enter premises and commit indictable offence by break and wilful damage.
He was given police bail and is due to appear in the Doomadgee Childrens Court at a later date.
Investigations are continuing.
