An 11-year-old boy has been charged with a number of outstanding offences, including the alleged theft of a lanyard containing a set of keys from a register at Mount Isa Coles on March 29.

The boy allegedly returned later that evening and proceeded to use an attached vehicle key in an attempt to unlock vehicles parked outside the building, however was unsuccessful.
He also has been charged in relation to the alleged break-in of a Simpson Street business on April 8, along with the alleged theft and subsequent use of a bank card from a vehicle parked on Darling Crescent on April 10.
The 11-year-old Townview boy has been charged with attempted unlawful use of a motor vehicle, receiving tainted property, fraud, enter premises and commit indictable offence.
He was denied bail and has been dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
