A woman from Bundaberg has been charged with drug offences in Mount Isa.

At about 7.15pm on Monday, April 12, Mount Isa Police and the Tactical Crime Squad conducted an intercept of a taxi on Marian Street, containing a female occupant.
Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and allegedly located and seized methylamphetamine, cash and drug paraphernalia.
A 40-year-old Bundaberg East woman has been charged with supplying dangerous drugs (methylamphetamine), possessing dangerous drugs (cannabis), possessing dangerous drugs (methylamphetamine - exceeding schedule 3), possessing anything used in the commission of crime, possess utensil, possess tainted property and unlawful possession of restricted drugs.
She was granted police bail and is due to appear in the Mount Isa Magistrates Court on May 12.
District Tactician, Acting Senior Sergeant Joel Bryant said Mount Isa Police were committed to targeting methylamphetamine suppliers in the region.
"We will continue to rupture criminal drug supply syndicates that pedal this poison within our community," he said.
