We are excited to welcome the Shank Brothers to this year's Isa Rodeo and know they will bring a whole new flavour to the event's entertainment outside the arena.
Shank Brothers BBQ will be cooking up a storm at this year's Isa Rodeo and presenting live shows sharing their incredible barbecue skills and tips.
One of Australia's most successful competition BBQ teams, the Shank Brothers have won more than $100,000 in prizes since they won Channel 7's Aussie Barbecue Heroes in 2015.
With a passion for a wide range of BBQ techniques from all over the world, both Ralph and Badger have smoked, grilled and roasted just about anything that has four legs (except tables).
Voted the first ever Hall of Fame Team; by the Australasian Barbecue Alliance the Shank Brothers have helped fellow Aussies ditch their gas BBQ's and fall in love with cooking over live fire. They are coming to the Isa Rodeo to share their BBQ knowledge and skills as well as some tasty samples throughout the weekend.
If you follow the smell of smoke and sizzling meat at the rodeo, you'll find the Shank Brothers.
They will be presenting themed shows on Friday, August 13 at 5.30pm; Saturday, August 14 at noon and 5pm; and Sunday, August 15 at noon. Learn how to BBQ the best steak you'll ever taste, or how to cook smoked wings plus enter the hot wings challenge if you dare.
The Shank Brothers will also demonstrate the low and slow techniques to cook lamb that saw them crowned Grand Champions at Australia's lamb only BBQ competition.
The boys love a bit of audience participation, so you could end up on stage along with some celebrity guests.
All rodeo tickets (individual day, three day passes and reserved Gold and Platinum passes) are on sale now via our website. Two huge Rodeo Rock concerts will head up the entertainment line-up with Aussie superstar Guy Sebastian and Casey Barnes rocking the stage Friday night and the Boy from the Bush, Lee Kernaghan and Mick Lindsay on Saturday night. Your rodeo pass includes the concert.
