A group of youths have been charged with a string of property offences in Mount Isa over the weekend.

Police said that overnight on Friday, June 18 a group of boys approached an Isa Street business and attempted to gain entry via three external doors by crushing the handles with a multi grip tool. CCTV from a nearby restaurant captured the offence.
At 10.30pm, the boys then approached the restaurant and gained entry using the same tool.
They searched through cupboards and the cash register, before removing liquor bottles from the bar area and cutting a CCTV cable.
Police said that at 11pm on Sunday, June 20, offenders used the same tool to enter the motel on Miles Street and attempted to gain access to two rooms.
They managed to crush the handle to one rooms but were unable to push the door open, due to an internal chain lock.
At 11.20pm the same evening, they then moved to a Simpson Street licensed premises, gaining access via a side door and removed a jerry can..
At about 12.20am, the group allegedly gained access to a Rodeo Drive business, by smashing glass panels in the front windows and attempted to remove the cash register, however were unsuccessful.
At about 12.30am, police received information three youths were smashing the front glass door of a Miles Street business with rocks, before running down a nearby alleyway.
Police immediately responded, along with dog squad and found two of the youths on the roof in Moffatt Street.
A 15-year-old Townview boy has been charged with two counts of attempted enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, two counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence by break and one count each of enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence and wilful damage and is due to appear in the Mount Isa Childrens Court today.
A 12-year-old Healy boy has been charged with enter premises and commit indictable offence by break, enter premises and commit indictable offence, stealing and wilful damage.
He was further charged with assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed, relating to an incident at 6am on Thursday June 17, where he allegedly struck a girl across the back and arm with a scooter, before slapping her across the face and kicking her when she fell to the ground.
He was further charged with common assault over an incident on June 20, where he allegedly struck a girl in the face with a wooden broom handle.
Investigations are continuing.
