Ric McMahon will ride Mount Isa heat winner Tango Rain in the Battle of the Bush final at Eagle Farm on Saturday.
The Jay Morris-trained Tango Rain is the $4.40 favourite in the1200m race which starts at 2.03pm.
The Cloncurry heat winner Kapset has withdrawn from the race.but Tango Rain is heavily fancied despite an unfavourable barrier draw, having had six wins already this year including its last out start in Rockhampton.
Meanwhile they will be watching Tango Rain's progress closely at Buchanan Park where there is a full program of racing for Do It For Dolly day,
First race is at 2pm and there is a five race card with the feature race Race 5 the Coppermart Open Quality Handicap over 1200m has a prize pool of $15,000.
