The heaviest June rainfall in the region since 2007 has forced the event to postpone to later in the year.
It was due to start Friday but organisers have put out a message on social media to warn of the postponement.
"We regret to inform you that due to the weather and the rain we have had to postpone the campdraft and rodeo," Yelvertoft said.
"We are sorry for this inconvenience but this is the best option for everyone."
Yelvertoft said all nomination fees would be refunded.
No date has been set yet for the replacement draft.
The draft at the property 100km north-west of Mount Isa is usually one of the great camping weekends of the calendar with people coming from across the region to enjoy the weekend.
The event also raises money for local charities.
