Saturday's play ended with a playoff required for the first time in many years when two teamsfinished with an impressive 91 gross score.
Excitement was high in the gallery of spectators when both teams headed back to the 18th tee to playthe final hole again.
Angie Sciascia delighted the crowd with a perfect chip to the green allowing playing partner Auretta Perrin an easy putt to claim the trophy from opponents Kate Chadwick and Liz Jakeman.
In the handicap division Suni Thogersen and Judy Fangrath came up trumps blitzing the field with an impressive 75 nett.
Ulla Allen and Jackie Thinee were awarded nett runners-up after a handy round carding an 80.5 nett.
Mother nature took a miserable turn overnight, whipping up 23 km winds to make icy conditions difficult for Sunday's Open Mixed Foursomes competition.
Players from the previous day bravely fronted up again with their male partners resulting in a large contingent of players 34 in total to compete for the Mixed Foursomes Championships.
Kate Chadwick and Greg Caple combined to take out first place honours and the Gross Champion Trophy with an amazing 84 off the stick.
Runner up Gross title went to Kirra White and Mark Thinee who finished close behind on 85.
Handicap honours went to the combination of Liz Jakeman and Tom Nankivell with an impressive 73 nett edging out their nearest rivals Ulla Allen and Steve Gerhmann when they finished with an equally impressive 73.5 nett.
