The series was filmed in and around Cloncurry over the last few months and now on July 18 it hits television screens and if you are in the Curry, you are invited.
Cloncurry Shire Council is throwing open the doors of the Cloncurry Shire Hall that evening for a big screen screening of the event.
There will be a free barbecue and popcorn and drinks will be available for purchase.
Attendees can vote for who they think will be the ultimate survivor with prizes available.
"Let's give the first episode a Cloncurry twist," Council said.
"Everyone is welcome."
An early sneak pic of the series shows this season has Brains v Brawn theme and features best-selling author Wai Chim and AFL footy legend Gavin Wanganeen.
Cloncurry Mayor Greg Campbell told a recent forum the filming of the series was a $5 million bonanza for his shire.
"And that doesn't include the hire car companies, the fuel companies whose head offices are away but that money still turned over in Cloncurry," Cr Campbell said.
The show starts on Sunday, July 18 on Channel 10 and 10 Play on Demand, though the show's start time has not yet been revealed.
