Police said a group of boys took a business vehicle from an East Street residential facility between 8pm on Sunday, July 11 and 6am on Monday, July 12 and drove around Mount Isa, before returning the undamaged vehicle and keys to the address.
Around 10pm on Monday, July 12, it is alleged a group of boys gained entry to a Miles Street business. After activating a security alarm, they all fled.
Just after midnight on Tuesday, July 13, it is alleged a group of boys attended a Rodeo Drive business and smashed a window and wooden panel to gain entry.
The group were disturbed by a staff member inside and fled.
A 17-year-old Normanton boy was charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, driving unlicensed, enter premises and commit indictable offence by break, attempted enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, wilful damage and stealing.
He has been granted bail and is due to attend the Mount Isa Children's Court at a later date.
A 14-year-old Townview boy was charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, driving unlicensed, enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, attempted enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, wilful damage and stealing.
He has also been charged with evade police, relating to an incident on June 10.
He was also allowed bail and is due to attend the Mount Isa Children's Court at a later date.
A 12-year-old Townview boy has been charged with two counts of enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, driving unlicensed - never held licence and stealing.
He too was given bail and is due to appear in the Mount Isa Children's Court at a later date.
A 16-year-old Pioneer boy has been charged with two counts of enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence.
He was given bail and is due to attend the Mount Isa Children's Court at a later date.
