Police said a group of boys entered an unlocked room via a balcony and removed cash from two wallets.
A youth involved has been further charged with the break in of a Miles Street business on July 9.
Its is alleged that two boys gained entry to the shop by smashing a front window and once inside, have removed a laptop.
On June 24, it is alleged the boy attended a Dent Street care facility without permission and threatened a case worker.
The 17-year-old Pioneer boy has been charged with enter premises and commit indictable offence by break and burglary, trespass and common assault.
He was given bail and is due to attend the Mount Isa Childrens Court.
