The shuttle which will be operated by Mount Isa Coaches will provide another transport option and provide an alternative to parking during Mount Isa's busiest weekend.
It will operate from early morning before rodeo starts for the day until after the nightly concerts from Friday to Sunday.
The shuttle will transport patrons to and from Buchanan Park to a number of locations in and around town including hotels, schools, caravan parks, major city buildings such as the Civic Centre and other key locations.
From Friday to Sunday, August 13 to 15, the shuttle service will run a southside and a northside circuit.
For example, the southside circuit will run between Buchanan Park, TAFE (Able Smith Parade), Spinifex Motel, Outback at Isa, the corner of 5th and 4th Avenue, the Irish Club (Buckly Street), Healy State School, Ergon, Leichhardt Accommodation and The Buffs Club (Simpson Street).
The northside route links Buchanan Park with Moondarra Caravan Park, Abacus Hotel, the Civic Centre car park, Discovery Caravan Park and the corner of Carbine and Sunset Drive.
Details of the full circuit, shuttle stops and times are available on https://www.isarodeo.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/2021-Rodeo-Timetable.pdf
