Isaroos women's team were victorious over Parkside on Friday evening 3-0.
It was an exceptional game with both teams fighting hard until the end. Isaroos were however too strong, taking advantage of goal scoring opportunities and kept Parkside out.
Minor premiers Isaroos suffered a late withdrawal from Jas McLean their leading goal scorer and also are now without Kristy Moore, their star keeper, who suffered a season ending injury last week, requiring surgery on a torn Achilles.
Holmwood stepped up again tonight, having a hand in all three goals. She scored two herself and got a cross to Jemma Patch who got a deflection on her shot that made it three for Isaroos.
Chelsea Murphy worked hard with Simmons and Ryan-South to keep Parkside's attack at bayagain and again.
This huge defensive effort from the Isaroos backline, supported by great saves from fill in keeper Astbury gave Isaroos the convincing 3-0 victory.
Parkside will now take on Tigers on Friday for the right to play Isaroos in the grand final.
